In 2009 a study, published by the Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior, reports that kids see more fast food commercials than ever before.

Overall children’s networks contain 76% more food commercials than other networks and 70% of those commercials are for fast food and junk food, which means kids see every eight minutes a commercial about unhealthy food in one hour.

The number one priority, if you are a parent are your children. There are many things you can do to protect your children from but a diet filled with nutritious foods should be the most important one.

When it comes to healthy eating there’s simply no substitute for fresh or real foods. Eating foods that are fresh are the basic component of eating healthy!

Most parents know it can be difficult to lead children to eat nutritious foods if they have already been influenced negatively by the media but by recognizing the dangers of things like GMO’s in factory farmed foods, refined carbohydrates, high fructose corn syrup or artificial sweeteners it would be now a good time to encourage your little ones to give up fast food and eat something that will absolutely bring health to your kids bodies.
